Halleluiah! Finally, Britney Spears has clued in to what we here in the blogosphere have been saying for months – “I looked like a fat pig!”

Yes, those were Brit’s quite eloquent words, after she watched a video of her disasterous VMA performance backstage at the gig (I guess that explains why she cried so much afterward).

A source revealed the extent of the singer’s distress to Us Weekly: “She was also able to see video of herself throughout the auditorium. She flipped out. She came running off the stage, yelling ‘Oh, my God, I looked like a fat pig! I looked like a fat pig!’ She was inconsolable.”

Does this mean her diet of Cheetos, drugs and alcohol will be coming to an end?
