Here’s a brand-spanking new Britney drama to start off your day!!
After her latest driving troubles over the weekend (where she ran a red light with the kids in the car), I dial up this morning and find that she’s just failed one of her random drug’s tests appointed by the courts in her custody case!
It’s just one lot of crap after another for Spears, isn’t it? The Gimme More singer tested positive to drugs in her system, but a source close to the star claims “it was a false reading.”
This latest issue, coupled with her driving mistake a few days ago, has prompted Kevin Federline and his lawyer to request the forthcoming hearing be fast-tracked. Apparently, they’re “really concerned” for her children’s well-being, and feel it’s in their best interests to remove them from her entirely.
UPDATE: A little extra news on Britney’s driving incident… TMZ.com is reporting that she not only ran a red light, but was actually texting while driving and breaking the law. That’s safety for you! ÂÂ
