Britney Collapses At New Year’s Party

It looks like Britney’s New Year didn’t start off the way she’d planned, as the pop star collasped at Pure Nightclub in Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas, not even an hour in.
Her people were quick to cover the collapse up, making sure no photos were taken, and getting her out of the club as fast as they could. At this stage, no one really knows why the star collapsed (perhaps it was partying too hard – too much alcohol and/or drugs??), but the reports are that at 12.50am this morning (U.S. time), Britney was seated at a VIP tented-cabana bed which overlooked the dance floor, talking to a male dancer of hers. A source said that gestured that she was ready to leave, and as she stood up, “she went into a dead faint and just fell right to the floor.”
Britney’s people pulled her up off the floor and onto the bed, where they then surrounded her in a protective cocoon to shield her from the prying eyes of other party-goers. Her security arranged for 10 other security members from the club to help them in order to “get her out as quickly as possible.”
One on-looker reportedly heard one of Britney’s people yell out: “Make sure nobody gets any photos. No photos anywhere.”
The group carried Britney out of the club wrapped in what appeared to be a “blanket-hooded poncho.” Another on-looker said that it looked like “she was being dragged as she wasn’t walking under her own speed.”
“It looked as if they wanted to get her up to her hotel room as soon as possible,” the on-looker added.
An ambulance was called to Caesar’s at 2 am this morning, but it is not yet known whether it was called for Britney.
Just 50 minutes prior to her collapse, Britney had hosted two countdown parties to celebrate the New Year – one inside the VIP section, and the other on the club’s outdoor terrace overlooking the famous Sin City strip.
Let’s hope Britney is ok, and it was nothing serious.
