Breaking News: Britney Attempts Suicide

News outlets across the globe have just tweaked their Britney Spears obituary recordings, after the pop star attemped suicide in her Beverly Hills home this evening.
X17online first reported on the singer’s suicide attempt, revealing that Lynne Spears, Britney’s sometimes-estranged mother, had rushed to her daughter’s side after being notified of the attempt.
A source told PageSix.com earlier in the evening that the Toxic singer was “on a manic high,” and had “been up all night and [hadn't] slept in 24 hours straight.”
The LAPD have once again responded to a call to Britney’s house, but as yet will not confirm or provide any details on the reason for their visit.
