Brad Renfro Dies

Young actor Brad Renfro has died at the age of 25.
Craig Harvey, the chief investigator for the L.A. county coroner has told People.com today that the actor passed away on Tuesday at a Los Angeles apartment, where he had spent the night partying with friends.
According to Harvey’s investigations, Renfro was heard “snoring overnight,” but wasn’t breathing when his friends found him later on Tuesday morning. They called 911, and paramedics declared him “dead at the scene” at around 9 a.m.
At the present time, no cause of death is known, but it is believed to have been some form of drug overdose. Renfro was no stranger to trouble in his short 25 years, and had a history of drug and alcohol problems, stemming way back to 1997.
Harvey said: “[Drug overdose is a] possibility considering his history, but right now all we have is the history of his drinking the previous night.
“All that we have is that he was last known to be alive during the morning hours and he was snoring.”
Renfro had only recently completed filming The Informers with Winona Ryder and Billy Bob Thorton. His previous forays into cinema include the 1994 hit, The Client and Apt Pupil.
