Barron Hilton Pleads Guilty
Barron Hilton, the younger brother of socialite Paris Hilton, has pleaded guilty to his charges of DUI, and will spend 3 months in alcohol education programs as punishment for his crimes.
The 18-year-old was charged with two misdemeanours of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was sentenced to three years probation, fined around $2,150.00 AUD and ordered to attend an alcohol education program.
He will also lose his license for a year.
Barron did not attend the court hearing, and his attorney, Richard Hutton, was sent to enter his pleas to both his drunken driving charge and the charge of possessing a false driver’s license. Two other charges of driving under the influence and driving unlicensed were dismissed.
The young Hiltonite was arrested back on February 12, after his Mercedes-Benz (is that the only car these Hiltons drive?) hit a gas pump and another vehicle.
A second hearing in June will determine how much Barron is set to pay in damages for the accident.
