Tattoos for the back are hot and for several reasons.

Being the largest canvas area on the entire body, the back provides a massive area for you to express yourself with a limitless range of tattoo designs.

As you can see in the images of back tattoos on this page, whether you are into elaborate colorful back tattoos, 3d back tattoos, tribal back tattoos, butterfly and flower back tattoos, anime back tattoos, Japanese back tattoos or simple text, you can ink it on your back.

Upper back tattoos, lower back tattoos, or full back tattoos, the possibilities are limitless, which is one of the reasons they are so popular.

Another reason tattoos for the back are popular is that they can be easily hidden under clothes. Whether you are male or female, if you work in a professional environment that frowns upon tattoos, you can hide your back tattoo under most clothes, only bringing it our for special occasions.

As I said, tattoos for back are hot for many reasons, but if the design is wrong, being such a large area, is something you really don’t want to think about. But really, it is something you need to consider. If you get a poor design, you wont just have a small mess to fix up, but one hell of a big one.

3D Tattoo Designs

3D Tattoo Designs, are a unique style of tattooing that adds depth and realism to the tattoo design. This is accomplished by adding shadow to the design to make it look like it is either a part of your skin, or something standing ontop of your skin, as the images of the 3D tattoos on this page illustrate.

Many of the features of 3D tattoo designs are also used in Biomechanical tattoos, where the design is intertwined with the human body.

Because of 3D tattoos’ unique style and specialized artistic qualities, finding appropriate designs can be extremely difficult. If you have tried searching, you’ll know what I mean, there simply aren’t as many available as more traditional tattoo designs.

While 3D Tattoos Designs certainly stand out from the crowd, if the design is wrong, they can totally miss the mark and look lame.

Tattoos Biomechanical

BioMechanical_Tattoo

Biomechanical tattoos, also known as Bio-Mech is a unique style of tattooing that blends live robots and robotic parts, intertwined with the human body; think the Terminator, when he cuts open his arm to reveal his inner robotic parts; living tissue mixed with gears, actuators and cables.

Based around the drawing style of illustrator H.R. Giger, who designed the creatures in the Alien movies, Biomechanical tattoos were popular in the late 80’s and early 90’s and are going through something of a resurgence, thanks to better techniques and artistry and featuring on television shows such as Miami Ink and LA ink. While the most popular color for bio-mechanical tattoos are usually black and gray, use of other colors is becoming popular.

biomechanical_ankle_tattooBecause Biomechanical tattoos’ unique style and specialized artistic qualities, finding appropriate designs can be extremely difficult. If you have tried searching for Biomechanical designs, you’ll know what I mean, there simply aren’t as many available as more traditional tattoo designs.

One place I have found that sells Biomechanical tattoo designs is the number 1 Tattoo Gallery On The Web, Chopper Tattoo. When searching elsewhere on the Web for designs and finding the choice very light on, I went to Chopper Tattoo and found that once again they have a selection even for this style.

Normally, I would look at Chopper Tattoo first and then compar other sites afterwards, but I thought, as Biomechanical is such a specilized style, that they might not have any designs. I should have known better; Chopper Tattoo is not the number 1 Tattoo Gallery on the Web for no reason.

Chopper Tattoo has the largest amount of original, high quality, modern tattoo designs, not rehashed poorly designed images. They continually updates their designs and use the best artists to keep their range fresh and growing with the latest trends and fashions.

Ankles Tattoos

Ankles Tattoos are very popular, especially amongst celebrities and are often one of the first tattoos many women get, as they can be very minimal, yet attractive at the same time and easily displayed or covered with a simple change of clothes.

Like any other section of the body, the choice of design for ankles tattoos is limitless and entirely up to the expression of the individual. Many choose bands that circle the ankle, like the image on the left below, while others go for more of a standalone image that represents something personal to them, like the dove and heart in the image on the right.

ankles_tattoos_designs

Ankle tattoos are generally more feminine, as they accentuate leg shape, especially in high heels. Many women choose to have ‘feminine’ images such as flowers, butterflies, fairies, hearts, kanji and celestial symbols inked on their ankles, as well as other more womanly images.

The ankle does have some unique requirements, due to bone structure and shape that makes selection of the correct design essential to get a good result. Because of these specific requirements, whatever image or symbol you want to get inked on your ankle, it is important that you use a design that has been created specifically for this location.

Two sites you can get are Chopper Tattoo and Print My Tattoo.

Chopper Tattoo is the number 1 Tattoo Gallery On The Web and for good reason, it has the largest amount of original, high quality, modern tattoo designs, not rehashed poorly designed images. Chopper Tattoo continually updates their designs, which keeps their range fresh and growing with the latest trends and fashions.

Searching for images on the site is simple, with images presented in design categories to make it easy to find what you are looking for. The images you view are crystal clear, so you can see all the fine detail of the artwork to make your selection easier. Another nice feature includes the ability to search for tattoo parlors near you, which certainly makes things easier.

Print My Tattoo does not have quite as large a range of designs as Chopper Tattoo, but it has more than enough for you to find the design you are searching for.Like Chopper Tattoo, you can search tattoo designs by categories, including celebrity tattoos and Chinese symbols. It has members galleries to browse, a forums section videos and books, more than enough to keep you busy and educated for your next ink job.

So which one should you use, really that will come down to personal preference. Take a look at both sites, to see which one grabs you the most and meets your needs. Both sites provide a professional service and will meet most peoples needs for a great tattoo design. Having said that, Chopper Tattoo didn’t become number 1 for nothing and has a larger range of designs; if you can’t decide between the two, you won’t be disappointed by choosing Chopper Tattoo for your ankle tattoo design.

Faith Chinese Tattoo

faith_tattoo

Many people like to express their faith with a tattoo, while others portray their individuality through the use of Chinese symbols; some people combine the two with a “Faith Chinese Tattoo”.

Chinese symbols are extremely beautiful, but also very complex, which is a large factor to their popularity. Unfortunately, unless you are fluent in the language, you cannot really be sure exactly what the symbols you select really say. The image above illustrates the difference between Chinese symbols for “Faith”.

The last thing you want is to get what you think is a Chinese Faith Tattoo inked and rather than saying “Faith” in Chinese, it actually says “Rat”, or something far worse. Trust me, this happens more often than you think. The main reason this happens, is because people do an online search for translations. Asking a Chinese person will also not guarantee success,  as with the language consisting of in excess of 70,000 symbols, chances are, they will not know the correct answer either.

Going to a tattoo parlor also will not guarantee you getting the right symbol, as even small changes to its appearance can dramatically alter the meaning of the what you have.

Luckily, there is a simple way to ensure you get exactly what you want, just go to an expert. The hard part is finding someone that is both an expert in tattoos and also knowledgeable about Chinese symbols. I know how difficult this is, as I have searched for this myself and finally come across two resources that will give you exactly what you want. The first specializes just in Chinese Tattoo Designs, while the second does not specialise in Chinese symbols, but has a large offering, as well as some other features that sets it apart.

Chinese Tattoos Designs, as the name suggests specializes in Chinese Tattoos. Owner Yingying, is a tattoo artist who has been translating thousands of English Words Into Chinese and creating Custom designs for years. She covers the entire range, from Kanji Tattoos, to Chinese proverbs and everything in between. At Chinese Tattoos Designs, you can be sure to get an accurate and beautiful “Faith Chinese Tattoo”

Print My Tattoo, as I said, does not specilize specifically in Chinese symbols, but it does have a huge range and offers some neat features that are well worth checking out, inlcuidng tattoo meanings, celebrity tattoos, tattoo designs, tattoo videos and much more. Print My Tattoo is worth checking out, simply for its range and for general inspiration.

If you specifically want an English to Chinese translation, than Chinese Tattoos Designs would be a better option; if you want a more diverse range to select from, then Print My Tattoo may be more for you. Whichever one you choose, you wont be dissapointed, as both provide a professional service dedicated to you getting the right ink for you body.

Perez Hilton’s Latest Publicity Stunt

June 22, 2009 by staralicious

Perez Hilton is claiming that he was bashed by Will.I.Am and his security guards.

The Black Eyed Peas band was in Toronto, to perform at the awards called Much Music, where they won the Best International Video Group Award for their hit song, “Boom Boom Pow”.

Being the media tart that he is, the first thing Hilton did was reach out for his phone and Twitter the bashing, saying he needed police help.

OK, let me think about this for a second.

He has ‘allegedly’ been bashed, in his mind, seriously enough to require police assistance; he has a phone in his hands, yet his first instinct is not to use his phone to call the police himself, rather he chooses to send a post to Twitter, asking for someone to call the police for him.

Riiiiggghhhtttt…….

Now, call me suspicious, but could his actions be nothing more than the usual attempt at a PR stunt?

Now what could be the reason for that I wonder?

Oh that’s right, he is trying to go more mainstream and is reporteldy starting a new ’safe’ site.

Lily Allen Googles Herself 10 Times Each Day

Lily Allen is a bit of an irrelevance to me, which she should enjoy reading, on one of her forays in the Googling herself 10 times each day.

The latest inane statement to come out of her mouth is her desire to shed her clothes in front of the cameras.

Hasn’t she already flashed enough flesh that no one wanted to see?

“I’m just very comfortable in my body,” she admits to Extra in an interview. “I wouldn’t do it in a ‘Hey-Look-At-My-Boobs kind of way. ‘ ”

On her gogling activities, she had this to say:

“I Google myself about ten times a day and that’s the truth,” she says of keeping up with the latest gossip. “They bother me if they’re inaccurate in which case I sue… In which case it doesn’t bother me because I make money out of it!”

Kind of a contradiction whouldn’t you say? They bother her if they’re inaccurate in which case she sues… In which case it doesn’t bother her.More like she gets her revenge.

A word of advice, keep your clothes on, as very few people really want to see you naked. Now, if you were Katy Perry, that would be a different thing.

Naomi Watts Says Hollywood Actors Shouldn’t Take A Pay Cut

February 22, 2009 by staralicious

After stupidly appearing naked on her balcony last week, Naomi Watts has done something far less endearing.

Naomi Watts doesn’t agree with suggestions that Hollywood actors should take a pay cut during the current global financial crisis.

Showing just how much of a sheltered and privileged life she leads, Watts says:

“I think we may be more open to negotiation but I think the art world tends to thrive in times of recession.

We need the escapism. We need stories to be told for us to take ourselves away from the reality of our situations or circumstance.”

Yeah, and people need money to live and spare change to go to the cinema to watch the movies, that gives you the luxury of making such a stupid statement when you are pulling in more money per picture, than most people will ever make in their lifetime.

I don’t think anyone has a crux with the income; good luck to her, but try not to be so disjointed from the reality of the worst global financial crisis since the Great Depression that you make such a stupid statement.

Is that the fanometre I can see rapidly going backwards?
