In memory of her short, but colourful, existence, here is Anna Nicole Smith’s life in photos:
Married three times (divorced and widowed once each), here is Anna Nicole’s first love and husband, 16-year-old Billy Smith, from Jim’s Krispy Chicken Shack, who was the father of her late son, Daniel.
Next on the list for Anna was a spread in Playboy magazine in 1992, which saw her claim the title of Playmate of the Year in 1993.
After Playboy came her controversial marriage to elderly oil tycoon, J. Howard Marshall II. At the time of their marriage, Anna was 26 and he was 89. He died 13 months later, leaving Anna with a hell of a fight on her hands for his $1.6 billion fortune.
Desperate for the limelight, Anna launches her own reality show on the E! Network, pulling in record viewers.
Sick of her weight issues, Anna becomes the face of weight-loss drug, TrimSpa, which helps her lose 69 lbs! With her dramatic weight-loss comes her rather loopy appearance on the AMA’s, in which she asks the audience: “Like my body?”
Next comes the tragic death of her son, Daniel, and the birth of her daughter, Dannielynn.
And of course, who could forget her “committment ceremony” to her lawyer (and possible father to Dannielynn), Howard K. Stern.
