“Angelina Made Me Do It”

Yep, that’s Madonna’s excuse for deciding to adopt an African child, as opposed to the US child which she was already in the process of adopting, before Angelina changed her mind.

The UK’s Sunday Express is reporting that just three months before adopting baby David, the couple had filled out an application at a California agency, and had even undergone an evaluation process to be adoptive parents.

This all changed after Mads and her hubby had dinner with Brad and Angelina.

A source close to Angelina insists that Angie had really drummed into Madonna the idea that adopting an African baby was the right thing to do, over a series of emails and dinner dates.

“Angelina later said she e-mailed Madonna several times to offer advice and tell her how happy she and Brad are with Zahara and Maddox, the boy she took from Cambodia.”

A source said yesterday: “[Madonna and Guy] were well into the adoption process. They were fingerprinted and went through an interview as part of our evaluation procedures. We were surprised when they lost interest. They seemed incredibly keen.”
