Mr & Mrs Smith star, Angelina Jolie, has been dropped as the face of fashion label St. John, a source has revealed.
Ms. Jolie has been modeling for the label since September 2005, and was reportedly sacked because the public didn’t respond well to her representation.
“Putting celebrities in campaigns is the biggest trend right now, everyone is doing it, but it didn’t work for St. John with Angelina,” an insider explained. “The people that wear St. John just didn’t relate to her.”
Apparently, she was considered “too sexy” to be the face of a conservative fashion label like St. John, which caters more to the style of Hilary Clinton types.
