Dad Working For Britney Full Time

Jamie Spears, pop star Britney’s father, has quit his full-time catering job in order to better serve as the co-conservator of the Toxic singer’s estate.
Earlier in the year, Jamie was awarded the co-conservatorship of Spears’ estate by the courts, after a string of psychiatric episodes left the mother-of-two unable to properly care for herself or her finances. Since February, the overseeing of his daughter’s affairs has become a full-time job, forcing Jamie to quit his own job.
As a result of his lack of employment, Mr. Spears was given $10,000 in back pay to cover his first month’s work on the pop star’s estate, and will now received $2,500 per week as a salary for his continued efforts.
“The responsibilities he has assumed as conservator… have required [his] full-time attention,” a request for ‘replacement compensation filed by Mr. Spears read. “As a result, he has been unable to continue to his prior employment and he has lost his source of income which he needs to pay his living expenses.”
Since playing a larger role in his daughter’s life and financial affairs, Jamie has helped the young aspiring actress secure two successful gigs on the hit show How I Met Your Mother, as well as regain some of her visitation rights for her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

It doesn’t rain but it pours for poor, crazed pop tart Britney Spears!
After being released from the UCLA Medical Centre and ridding herself of the destructive influence of “friend” Sam Lutfi, Spears has once again fallen under the sway of the desperate lens jockey, Adnan Ghalib.
The paparazzi is taking full advantage of Spears’ vulnerability this time around, too, telling Star magazine that Britney is carrying his love-child.

After a little over a week in psychiatric care, pop star Britney Spears has been released.
TMZ.com is reporting today that Spears was allowed to leave the psychiatric ward at the UCLA Medical Centre, as she was no longer deemed a danger to herself or others, and so could no longer be held against her will.
Restraining Order Claims Lutfi Drugged Spears

The restraining order put on Sam Lutfi by Spears’ parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears, claims that the singer’s former pal drugged her, and constantly treated her like a second-class citizen.
Lutfi, who was finally served with the restraining order paperwork, has been ordered not to set foot within 250 yards of Britney, the UCLA Medical Centre where she is currently staying, both her parents’ and her siblings’ homes, her children’s homes and Spears’ own residence.
Britney’s Hospital Stay Extended

Nothing has been signed yet, but TMZ.com is reporting that Britney Spear’s extended hospital stay is a “done deal.”
The papers are said to be signed at the UCLA facility sometime tonight, something that will be done internally without a court order. Spears’ stay at the psych ward will be extended an extra 14 days, after a number of psychotic outbursts led the doctors and staff to believe the singer was still a danger to herself.
The complex Britney is staying in is said to be one of the best in America for the treatment of bipolar disorder, which Spears has been diagnosed as having during her second hospital stint.
Let’s hope she’ll get the help she needs this time around. At least it seems this psychiatrist she’s seeing is better than the last doctor she had… if he’s acting on the promise he made of keeping her in for half a month, that’s gotta say something about his practices, right?

A few minutes ago, Britney Spears showed staff at the UCLA Medical Centre just why she’s still there, going ballistic in the psych ward after finding out her father was now the conservator to her estate.
While on the phone today, Britney – in a heavy British accent – went totally nuts, screaming that her parents were taking over her life and that she’ll fight them in court.

Her second stint in psychiatric care may turn out to be her last for a while, as sources from the UCLA Medical Centre have revealed to TMZ.com that Britney Spears has been classified as “G.D.” – Gravely Disabled, and could be a candidate for an involuntary commitment.

Grey’s Anatomy star Justin Chambers – who plays Dr. Alex Karev on the hit show – reportedly checked himself into the Medical Centre earlier in the week, and was released just before Spears’ own check in.

Less than an hour after an alleged suicide attempt, troubled pop star Britney Spears is in an ambulance and on her way to UCLA Medical Center, where she will be held under a 5150 hold.
