Is Mischa Barton set to be Hollywood’s next drug and alcohol-addicted starlet to attend rehab? From the sound of what she was caught with when she was arrested yesterday on suspicion of DUI, there’s a good chance the staff at Promises rehab centre (or another like-minded institution) already have a room waiting for her.
A source from the West Hollywood police station has told the press that when Ms. Barton was arrested at 2:45 a.m. on Thursday, she “blew a .12 on her breathalyzer test, admitted to smoking marijuana earlier” in the day (the remnants of which were found in her car) and had what looked like to the cops “prescription drugs” in an unlabeled bottle.
So she was high on the lucky three, then: drugs, dope and stupidity.

After spending the last few weeks denying the existence of their relationship, 30-year-old Ventimiglia finally admitted he was dating Hayden, at a pre-Christmas Water Grill party in Los Angeles.
He might be twelve years her senior, but that hasn’t stopped the pair from falling head over heels for each other. Milo was overheard gushing to a friend about his young lover at the party. “He called her his girlfriend and said that he loved her,” she the witness.
Later on in the evening, the pair were seen sitting together and holding hands. Aww…

Nicole Kidman and her country music-singing hubby, Keith Urban, have revealed that they are expecting their first child.
The couple, who have been married for 18 months, broke the news to their family and friends over the Christmas holiday period.
It’s possible Kidman kept the news of her pregnancy quiet for some time, as she’s been “winding down” her filming commitments, with her latest flick, The Reader (with Ralph Fiennes) to begin shooting next month in Berlin. She has no more contracted work planned after that film is complete.

Brandy Escapes Criminal Charges
Former R&B singer, Brandy, has escaped criminal charges in the case of her fatal vehicular crash last December.
The City Attorney’s Office spokesman, Frank Mateljan, said in a statement earlier today: “The City Attorney’s Office has decided not to file misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter charges against Brandy Norwood in the case stemming from a Dec. 30, 2006, traffic collision.”
“After conducting a thorough investigation, which included consulting with some of the top accident reconstruction experts in the country, City prosecutors concluded that there was insufficient evidence from which a jury could find Ms. Norwood guilty of such a charge beyond a reasonable doubt,” Mateljan added.
Lindsay Lohan Nude Shots Fake!

There’s been a rumour going around the blogosphere the last few days that a collection of Lindsay Lohan nude shots have been made available to the press by her ex-beau, Riley Giles. This is apparently not true.
It turns out, the shots in question are actually a handful of personal pics, depicting a somewhat “zonked out” Lohan posing in what I’m sure she thinks is a seductive way. Most of the shots look like they’ve been taken by Lindsay herself, and in two of them, she’s posing in front of a mirror with her shirt pulled up.

Mischa Barton has reportedly been released from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s station, after being arrested earlier in the morning on suspicion of DUI and narcotics possession.
TMZ.com snapped the young star in the back of her parents’ black Mercedes as she left the law enforcement complex at 10:10 a.m. this morning.
While the “O.C.” actress may have made bail, her partner in crime – her black SUV – is still being held in the impound lot.

TMZ is reporting that former The O.C. actress, Mischa Barton, has been arrested “on suspicion of DUI, possession of marijuana and a controlled substance, and driving without a valid license.”
A press release issued by the L.A. Country Sheriff’s Department says that the star was “pulled over at around 2:45 a.m. this morning” while driving in West Hollywood, California. According to police on the scene, Barton was “seen straddling two lanes of traffic and failed to signal when making a turn.”
She was pulled over by the cops, and was quickly found out to be an “unlicensed driver and was driving while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.”
Mischa is currently still being held in custody in Los Angeles, where a $10,000 bail has been set. She is said to have been “very cooperative” and “no trouble at all.”

Paris Hilton’s grandfather, Barron Hilton, announced Wednesday that he’s giving away 97% of his 2.3 billion fortune to charity through the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation.
That leaves the entire Hilton clan to split the remainder of the money. Hilton has 23 grand kids, of which Paris is the most famous. If she is lucky, she may receive $1 million – $5 million of the inheritance. Read more
