Anna Nicole’s Death Assisted?

New information has just been released that suggest Anna Nicole’s death may not have been as “accidental” as the previous reports claim…

Dr. Joshua Perper, the Broward County Medical Examiner who conducted the autopsy on Smith, has confirmed that none of the 11 drugs found in Anna’s system were prescribed to her.

Of the 11 drugs, eight were prescribed to Howard K. Stern, two were prescribed to Alex Katz and one was prescribed to Anna’s personal shrink, Dr. Khristine Eroshevich. At this stage, no one really knows who Katz is, but what is clear is that all 11 prescriptions were written out by none other than Dr. Eroshevich!

Adding more fuel to the fire that Anna’s death was assisted is the fact that the drug chloral hydrate (which was the major cause of her death), was located in a duffle bag across the room.

Anna was apparently described as being “too weak to even get out of bed,” so how did she manage to get up, walk across the room, and search through a bag for drugs?

Oh, and a little tidbit of info…the chloral hydrate was one of the eight drugs prescribed to Stern.

When asked about this, Dr. Perper says he “asked Stern, Eroshevich and the bodyguard if they gave her the drugs and they all said they didn’t.” …gee, there’s a shocker!

In conclusion, Dr. Perper said that even if someone gave Anna the drugs, “It’s not wise for sure, but it’s not homicide.”

Think of this what you will…because I sure am…

New OOTP Photos!

As the release date for the fifth Harry Potter film gets closer and closer, we’re being inundated with more screen shots, and these ones are the best yet (IMO)!

The first shot (main), shows our fearless young wizards and witches inside the Ministry of Magic, with Harry holding his prophecy.

Number two has the famous trio cowering in the Forbidden Forest…number three is Harry seated before the Ministry during his hearing, and the last one shows a tender moment between Sirius Black and his god-son.

I just love sneak peeks when it comes to my favourite films! The new Pirates shots were great, and these I think are even better!

Just over 100 days to go (but who’s counting?!) I can’t wait!!

Fire Threatens Hollywood Sign

A 150-acre (60-hectare) bushfire has threatened the iconic Hollywood sign today, as well as causing disruptions at several studios in Los Angeles.

The blaze started just south of the Warner Bros. studios complex on Friday afternoon, and according to sources, two teenagers have admitted to deliberately lighting the fire.

In order to get the fire under control, some 150 firefighters and 5 helicopters battled the flames, and managed to stop it by nightfall.

A Warner Bros. spokesperson said that while smoke drifted into both their complex and Universal Studios, they were not asked by authorities to evacuate any staff.

Thankfully, the blaze was under control before it could reach the infamous Hollywood sign, which has stood on the hills since 1923.

Kate Beckinsale Flashes Thong

During the filming of her new flick, Winged Creatures, Kate Beckinsale flashed a little more than her newly-blonded hair…

As you can see from the picture about, Kate’s a bit of a “thong” fan. How she can stand to wear that uncomfortable thing is beyond me, but I’m sure all of her male fans out there wouldn’t mind in the least!

On a more sensible note…am I the only one not loving Kate’s new hairstyle? In these shots especially, the blonde hair really washes her out, and the fact that she’s not wearing any make-up just makes it worse.

Scarlett & Natalie Are Full Of Praise

Young actresses Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman had nothing but praise for each other, after working together on new film, The Other Boleyn Girl.

Here’s what Scarlett had to say about Nat:

“I first became involved [with the film] because Natalie was doing it. She’s a wonderful actor, just a great scene partner.”

“I guess I had never really worked with a young woman my age. She’s so professional. And she’s not pretentious or anything, just a really nice girl. It also helped that she’s from New York.”

And Natalie on Scarlett:

“The thing about her is she’s an amazing actress. You look at her and instantly believe you are in the place you are; she makes it immediately real.”

“She’s so supportive and giving and passionate about her work. She’s really direct about everything she wants or feels, whereas I am a little more timid.”

“It’s so rare that we get to work with actresses our own ages. You can relate at a friend level: We’re at the same places in our lives; we were able to talk about boyfriends and go out dancing.”

And dance they did! Rumour has it that the pair went clubbing together nearly every night during the filming stint. Sounds like they had fun…

Christina’s Lip-Syncing Scandal!

Fans who attended the Madison Square Garden performance by pop superstar Christina Aguilera have been left in outrage, after reports surfaced that the diminutive singer lip-synced through the entire show!

Her manager has admitted that the show suffered from undisclosed technical difficulties, which has led many fans to speculate Christina was doing more miming than singing.

“Miss Aguilera is one of the most talented vocalists to ever grace the stage. However, we did have a technical problem with the sound equipment at the Garden,” her manager, Irving Azoff, confirmed.

However, he refused to comment on the suggestion she was lip-syncing.

If she had to lip-sync, she had to lip-sync…just please, please don’t have her turn into Ashlee Simpson!!!

Wacko Jacko Suffers From Pneumonia

A number of sources are reporting that Michael “Wacko Jacko” Jackson has just been hospitalized with pneumonia, something that’s rumoured to have been triggered by a bout of the flu he’d caught from his children.

Jackson’s publicist, Raymone Bain, said that the family fell ill during a trip to Japan, and had to return to the States because of this “illness.” Michael is said to be still suffering from the sickness.

His rep revealed: “I’m not sure what the diagnosis is [for Michael]. It could be pneumonia.”

Michael has apparently spent a few days in a Las Vegas hospital to deal with this “suspected bout of pneumonia.”

No comment yet on whether his illness was caused from extreme excitement over seeing plans of his 50-ft Vegas robot…

Settlement in Spears/Federline Divorce

A source has revealed that Britney and K-Fed have reached a settlement in their multi-million dollar divorce…just days after Brits release from rehab!

Apparently, Kevin is set to walk away with around US$1 million…not a bad little earning for a few years’ marriage.

The couple have also decided on joint 50/50 custody of their two children, and everything is said to be finalised very soon.

Howard K. Stern Derails Smith Inquest

Anna Nicole’s former lover, Howard K. Stern, has just managed to put the inquest into Daniel Smith’s death on hold for at least two weeks.

A lawyer for the lawyer (hehe …couldn’t resist!) “argued the law allowing the inquest was flawed, because it was impossible to impanel a fair and impartial jury,” given the amount of publicity surrounding the death of Daniel, and the recent passing of his mother, Anna.

Stern’s next move is to argue his case to the Supreme Court of the Bahamas, in order to have the inquest into Mr. Smith’s death put on hold – permanently.

I’m sure we haven’t heard the last on this, so stayed tuned…I hope the snake doesn’t manage to slither his way out of this on a legal technicality, but it’s sure looking that way…
