Britney Wants to Adopt

Tired of flashing her panti-less behind and partying like a Hollywood skank, Britney Spears has decided to get a little credibility back in the new year, by adopting an young Balinese orphan from the tsunami disaster.

According to a source, Britney is so serious about wanting to adopt four-year-old Wang that she’s written to officials, and has even asked good pal Madonna for advice (seeing as Mads has some recent experience on adopting under-privileged children).

“The tsunami disaster was a tragedy very close to Britney’s heart and she has dedicated a lot of her time to its charities,” said the source.

As well as helping out little Wang, Britney is also hoping that this act of kindness will help her out as well - with her fans!

“Britney’s had a turbulent year and wants 2007 to be brilliant. As well as wanting to look after little Wang, she is determined to make a music comeback with a difference,” added the source. [Source]

Who in their right mind would let Britney adopt a child?? She hasn’t exactly been a perfect role model for the two kids she’s already got…I don’t think she needs another until she learns a bit of self-control…

Kim Kardashian Sex Tape

It is being reported that Kim Kardashian, like anyone else that comes into contact with her may be afflicted with the curse of Paris Hilton. Jawn Murray on AOL-BV says:

Desperate times call for desperate measures! Sources say a certain R&B singer, who has never really caught a major break, is peddling an X-rated home video to adult entertainment companies in hopes that it will do for his career what it has done for Paris Hilton’s. I’m also told that said singer believes that releasing the video will serve as revenge to his ex-girlfriend who recently dumped him for another entertainer.”

Kim recently dumped Ray-J for Nick Cannon and as a Paris Hilton associate, the story may well be true.

Paris & Britney: The War of Words Begins

Things really are over between Paris Hilton and her BFF of the moment, Britney Spears…and they’ve now resorted to childish name-calling (well, Paris has anyway)!

Paris now refers to Britney as ‘the animal,’ after Brits broke off the friendship some weeks ago. According to a source close to Hilton, their little bust-up wasn’t because of Britney’s relationship with greasy Brandon Davis, or because of Britney’s ‘peeps’…but it was Britney’s doing.

The source told Us Weekly: “Britney called Paris and said she had decided not to be seen in public with her ‘for now’.” Nice…no wonder Paris is pissed and calling Brits names…

“Britney told Paris that it’s not personal.”

Of course…no one drops a Hilton…not without expecting a little revenge, anyway…

Paris refused to invite Britney to her Christmas bash, and has re-named her former friend as the animal.

The source stated the reason behind Paris’ new nick-name for Brits as this: “Britney doesn’t think about things before she does them. She just acts out.” [Source]

Leo’s Jealous of Orlando’s ‘Heart-Throb’ Status

A friend of Leonardo DiCaprio’s has spilled the beans to Star magazine on what the Titanic star really thinks of big screen rival, Orlando Bloom…and it isn’t very nice.

Here’s an excerpt from the article:

“Although Orlando has struck gold with the Lord of the Rings trilogy and the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, insiders say he hasn’t won any respect from Leo. “[After Titanic] Leo turned his back on trying to be marketed as eye candy, and he doesn’t hold a lot of love for actorswho go that route,” a friend of Leo tells Star. Leo, who’s currently starring in the politically loaded thriller Blood Diamond,, “thinks that if someone like Orlando landed his… role, [producers] would have had him unclothed and rolling around in bed in about five seconds,” the friend laughs. “Because Orlando’s movies have made triple what Leo’s movies have made, Leo can’t figure out why Orlando won’t stand up for himself and demad more serious movies.” Adds the friend: “Leo wants to leave a bigger mark on the world than just some guy whose picture hangs on a 13-year-old girl’s wall.” [Source]

It sounds to me like Leo’s suffering from an attack of the green-eyed monster…maybe he should forget about what Orlando’s doing with his career, and worry about his own…

A Christmas Message From Jess

As I mentioned the other day, I have been working on a new site and web applications. You can see it here: myalicious.com.

I wasn’t sure whether to roll this out as an invited release or make it completely open to everyone.

I am still not sure which is the best way to go, but thought I might mention it here first and see how much interest it gets from Staralicious readers.

Christmas in Aspen

I wish I’d spent Christmas in a winter wonderland…instead I had to contend with sweltering heat, whilst still enjoying a huge, hot, Christmas feast (insane, I know)!

Many celebs were able to take advantage of their expansive wealth, and spent the silly season cruising down the slopes in the most hideous of winter attire!

Celebs from Mariah Carey to Heidi Klum and Seal to Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith, as well as a Desperate Housewive, were there, enjoying the gorgeous below zero conditions.

I hope they all had a wonderful Christmas (and that goes for all you guys as well!)…a little note for next Christmas…Heidi, I can fit in a suitcase…or maybe that pram…

A Very Brangelina Christmas

Well, it seems Brad and Angelina’s work is never done - not even for Christmas!

The couple decided against Christmas with their children to hand out Christmas gifts to refugee children in the Costa Rican capital of San Jose.

Angelina said in a statement: “We had a wonderful Christmas both with the Costa Rican people and the Colombian refugee families we met.”

“The conflict in Colombia is the greatest humanitarian tragedy in the Western Hemisphere, but it receives very little international attention…My Christmas message to Colombian refugees and to the millions of displaced people in Colombia is that the world has not totally forgotten them.”

“It’s been sad for me to hear so many negative stories that show confusion between refugees, who are the victims of the conflict, and some criminal elements.” [Source]

It’s nice that they gave up their Christmas to help out the refugees…but I hope that they still gave their little children a wonderful Christmas to remember - we’re only kids once, right…

A Very Beckham Christmas

It’s only been two days since Christmas, and already the celeb holiday stories are starting to roll in…it doesn’t look like the paps stop - even for Christmas!

The Beckhams’ story begins on Christmas Eve…Becks and Posh were spotted leaving Claridges Hotel in Mayfair, with their three gorgeous children Brooklyn (7), Romeo (4), and Cruz (22 months). Apparently they had just been Christmas shopping (or they sucked down mochacino’s while their minders did it for them).

An onlooker said: “They both looked gorgeous. Most of us look a bit haggard after hitting the shops so hard - but not Posh and Becks.”
