Lindsay Lohan: Politician??

According to New York State Independent Party speaker, Frank Morano, Lindsay Lohan’s next role could be as a politician…for real!!!

The party is encouraging Lindsay to run for government in 2009, in the role of a NYC Public Advocate.

“As Albany is currently a cesspool of corruption, badly in need of reform, you may also want to consider a bid for the state legislature. “Many celebrities have made the transition from Hollywood to politics, ranging from ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER and JESSE VENTURA to SONNY BONO and RONALD REAGAN. Few if any though, had the enormous potential that you possess,” said Morano, in a statement to Lindsay.

If Lindsay decides to run (and wins!), she’ll be next in line to the Mayor! Perhaps this was what she was rambling about with the whole Al Gore thing??

Now…who in their right mind would vote for Lindsay Lohan to win anything in politics?? She can’t even manage to walk straight most of the time, little own run anything!!!

• Wilmer Valderrama can be seen at Mansion (without latest squeeze, Mandy Moore), along with Travis Barker and Nicole Richie’s ex-DJ AM. Wilmer told People: “What’s a better way to celebrate a great year than coming to Mansion?”
• Laguna Beach starlet Kristin Cavallari and hottie James Franco will be partying at ultra-chic Prive and the ajoining Opium Garden.
• Jared Leto will be seen at the Raleigh Hotel, which is owned by Uma’s latest man.
• If you head to Skybar, you could run into many a celeb, including Luke Wilson, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Robert Iler and Tyson Beckford, who are all celebrating there.
• As previously mentioned, Jessica Alba is hosting a New Year’s bash at Setai, along with Haylie Duff and The OC’s Benjamin McKenzie.

• Britney Spears, who’ll be partying at Caesars Palace’s PURE nightclub.
• Joel Madden will be a DJ at Ghostbar on the 55th floor of the Palms Casino Resort, will a possible appearance from his new gal, Nicole Richie.
• Pamela Anderson is set to a host a bash at Tao at the Venetian, while her exes, Tommy Lee and Kid Rock party at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and The Mirage’s Jet nightclub respectively.
• Vince Vaughn will celebrate with his comedy tour in Mandalay Bay.

The stars set to party in New York City include:

• Carson Daly, Christina Aguilera, Ryan Seacrest, Fergie, Natasha Bedingfield and Meat Loaf, will all be a part of two separate New Year’s shows hosted in Times Square.

Mandy & Wilmer: Hollywood’s Latest Rebound Couple

According to Star magazine, pop singer Mandy Moore and Hollywood sleaze, Wilmer Valderrama, are tinsel town’s latest rebound couple.

There was speculation a while back that Mandy and Zach Braff were an item (they turned up to one of those awards shows together, and looked kinda cosy), but since his links to his The Last Kiss co-star, Rachel Bilson, it seems Mandy has turned her sights on ex-boyfriend, Wilmer (the coupe dated for a while in 2001).

They recently arrived together during a visit to Miami’s club Prive, but were careful not to be photographed together. It sounds like they want to keep this budding romance private for a while…too late!!!

Star magazine has the report:

The pair, who split in the winter of 2001 after dating for 18 months, were spotted looking very much like a couple in heat, at Miami’s Prive nightclub on Thursday night. “Wilmer and Mandy arrived together,” a source tells Star, “but they were careful not to be photographed together. Nonetheless, Wilmer was doting on Mandy the whole time, and they were very close to each other the whole night. She was dressed casually with her hair in a ponytail and hoodie sweatshirt.”

Here’s hoping that Mandy wakes up to herself and gets some taste…Wilmer has been out with almost every young starlet in Hollywood, and he’s told the paps about every relationship in great detail…I hope she hasn’t forgotten that…ÂÂ

Julia Roberts is Pregnant

After enjoying life with her twins, Phinnaeus and Hazel, so much, Oscar winner Julia Roberts has gone back for a third time, and is expecting the arrival of her third child next summer.

Julia is likely to take some time off from Hollywood after the birth, as she did with the twins. There’s no news yet on how her pregnancy will affect the two film projects she has just accepted.

“It’s a joy being domestic. It’s something I want and something that makes me very happy,” Julia said.

A spokesperson for Julia couldn’t be reached for comment, but according to Julia, this latest baby probably won’t be her last. She once told Oprah that she and Danny wanted a big family. “I’m in the harbor of my life . . . Danny has really shined the light for me,” Julia said. [Source]

No More Movie Roles for Posh

Despite rumours circulating that she’s set to play the wife of an alien leader in a new wacko Tom Cruise movie, Posh has said that she’ll never do another movie (after the disasterous Spice Girls movie) because she can’t act to save her life!

Here’s what Posh had to say on the rumours:

“It’s quite hilarious for two reasons. Firstly, you’ll never see me on screen again because I can’t bloody act to save my life!”

“And secondly, although I get offered quite a few parts, I’d never do it as I wouldn’t want to wear anything the wardrobe department would put me in.”

The Real Reason Behind Carmen & Dave’s Divorce

Their divorce papers might have stated ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason behind their split, but apparently the real reason is that they’ve both turned their sights on same-sex relationships!!!

Yes…marriage has turned Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro gay!!!

An insider close to the couple told The Enquirer: “Carmen and Dave are very rock ‘n’ roll, very modern and very sexually open-minded.”

Victoria Beckham is Just ‘Small-Boned’

Victoria ‘Posh’ Beckham has put her skinny-bashing critics to rest by announcing on BBC Radio program, “Gordon Ramsay’s Perfect Christmas Lunch,” that she doesn’t have an eating disorder.

According to Posh, her constant ultra-slim frame is due to strict control over what she eats, and not the cause of anorexia or a similar disorder.

“I eat really healthy, I love Japanese food, lots of fish, any sort of fish, any sort of vegetable, lots of fruit, that kind of thing,” Posh said on the show.

When asked about what she thought of the speculation about her weight in British tabloids, Posh said she didn’t really care what they wrote about her. “I don’t really care all that much. We live in Spain. I don’t really see a lot of the press, and I don’t really hear what’s going on. I’m just past caring.”

Even though she “doesn’t really care” about what the British press think of her eating habits, she still went on to add that there’s a big difference between having an eating disorder, and controlling what you eat.

“I think there’s a big difference between someone having an eating disorder and someone who is controlled about what they eat. There’s a big difference, and every now and then of course I go out and eat what I like. But I do try to be quite disciplined in the way that I eat.”

Posh’s friends have confirmed that she’s definitley not suffering from an eating disorder, stating that she “eats healthily” but “doesn’t exercise at all.”

“She eats more than what people would think,” a friend of Posh’s told People.

During her appearance on the show, Posh also put her two cents’ worth in on the size zero model debate.

“What is a double zero? I don’t even know what size a double zero is! I think models are thin, that’s the way that it is.”

“All of the girls – I know quite a few models and they actually eat, they’re just naturally thin girls. And just because you’re thin it doesn’t mean you have an eating disorder. What is more of a concern is the age of the girls. Some of the girls on the catwalk are 13 years old and that is more worrying to me than the size of the girl, to be honest.” She’s got a point…
