A rep for Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe has announced that the couple have split, after 7 years of marriage.
The statement reads:
“We are saddened to announce that Reese and Ryan have decided to formally separate. They remain committed to their family and we ask that you please respect their privacy and the safety of their children at this time.”
The couple have both previously voiced their problems within their marriage to the media, and for the past few years, have had a ‘will-they-won’t-they-divorce’ cloud over them.
This comes as no surprise, given the extreme amount of tension between them at the premiere of Ryan’s new movie, Flags of our Fathers, only two weeks ago.
At the after-party, a fellow party-goer overheard the couple arguing, with Reese asking Ryan “I don’t know what you mean by saying I am embarrasing you, how could you say I am embarrasing you?” Shortly after this, Ryan stormed off, and Reese took off to the ladies.

Does Paris Hilton actually have a sense of humour??
It seems she’s making fun of herself (instead of others for a change!) with this year’s choice of Halloween costume, by dressing as a member of the LAPD…who infamously arrested her for DUI recently!!
I know these pictures are probably everywhere by now, but I couldn’t NOT post them…I mean, it’s HALLOWEEN (or close to it!) - and Ms. Hilton is a walking punch line!!!

From trainwreck to instant glamour…I’m speechless!!!
Whitney looks absolutely amazing!!!
It just goes to show that with a little effort, a good stylist (and a lot of make-up!), you can still look great - even at Whitney’s age!
I wonder if this is the result of her divorce from Bobby Brown, or because she’s wanting to make music again, and needs some positive PR for a change?
Either way, it’s nice to see Whitney looking gorgeous, svelt, and HEALTHY!!

We told you to look out for Beyonce at one of boyfriend Jay-Z’s Aussie concerts - and it looks like Beyonce decided to make an appearance…of sorts…
During Jay-Z’s ‘Roc Tha Block’ concert in Melbourne on Saturday night, a black-clad ‘gangsta’ with visibly ‘female-looking’ hands and vivid red nail polish emerged on stage to ‘pimp it up’ with Jay-Z and his posse.
We’re not entirely sure that is was Beyonce, as the ‘gangsta’s’ face was covered in a hood and a black bandana…but no other ‘peep’ on stage had his or her identity kept secret from the audience, so who else could it be but Beyonce?
Also, more concrete evidence that the ‘gangsta’ is in fact Beyonce…my source, Gossip Rocks, says that a picture on pap powerhouse Getty Images has a caption which states that it’s ‘Beyonce on stage with Jay-Z.’
What more proof do we need, folks?

No One Dresses Rachel Bilson

Rachel Bilson wants everyone to know that her ‘fashion icon’ status is thanks to her - and not some stylist under her employ!
She said: “I definitely pick out what I want. No one dresses me. One of my best friends is a stylist so it works out perfectly.”
“I am a vintage fan through and through. Mix a little designer in there. You know. It’s kind of an expressive way of showing who I am.”
However, Rachel understands that with a busy schedule, it’s sometimes hard in the showbiz industry NOT to have a stylist shop for you.
“In this business I think everyone needs somebody like a stylist to find clothes for you when you have all these events because you can’t shop that much and you’re not going to buy all these gowns for thousands of dollars.” [Source]

Justin Timberlake told British TV presenter, Michael Parkinson on Saturday night, that playing his own music in the bedroom ‘distracts him’ from what he’s doing.
When asked the very private question of what he listened to while lovemaking with girlfriend Cameron Diaz, Justin replied: “Well, you know, different strokes for different folks! But, I think, being a musician, it’s a little hard to mix those two.”

Nicole Richie Collapses at Hyde!

Sources have exclusively told the paps at TMZ that Nicole Richie passed out at Hyde nightclub in Hollywood early Sunday morning.
Richie apparently collapsed and fell to the floor at approximately 2 am. A Hyde employee is said to have approached Richie and her friends, insisting that they call 911. Nicole’s friends wouldn’t allow it, and said that they would take her to a hospital, and carried her out the back door of the club.
It is not known whether Nicole made it to the hospital.
It was just last week that Richie’s reps confirmed that she had checked herself into a clinic to ‘determine why she wasn’t putting on any weight.’
Her rep has confirmed that while Richie was at Hyde at that time, she was only there for 20 minutes, and she did not collapse.

Well, Elle has touched on the subject again this week…and this time she had nothing but nice things to say about Heidi Klum…sort of!
“Heidi is so beautiful. I think she’s got an amazing body. I’ll call her ‘The Body’ if she wants.”
“Listen, legally speaking, we’ve trademarked the name, and we did this years and years ago. But as far as compliments are concerned, my compliments go to Heidi.”
I think what she’s really saying is that while Heidi might have a beautiful ‘body,’ the label’s mine…so back off, biatch!!

Naomi’s Public Hissy Fit

Naomi Watts and boyfriend Liev Schreiber had a public little fight after Liev’s performance at The 24 Hour Plays last week.
The King Kong starlet was seen ’storming out of the Whiskey Bar after-party,’ with her man following, screaming “Baby!”
A witness said: “She slammed her drink down; he followed suit, but took a bracing sip before following. Five minutes passed, and Liev returned alone. He picked up his drink, took another sip, looked around with a ‘What can you do?’ expression, and rejoined his party.”
What’s strange about all of this was that just hours before, Naomi couldn’t stop gushing about how great her man was.
Naomi said: “I am so proud of him tonight, as always…It makes me think that I should be up there doing what [those actors] are doing.”
“He did have the best lines. But even so, he is so funny, isn’t he? I’m so proud.” [Source]
